Some people choose friends who are similar to themselves.  Others prefer friends who are different from themselves.  Let’s compare.

I used to work in a game shop, where I met lots of geeks.  It’s really fun to geek out together with someone who loves the same things.

When I have coffee with an old man, the conversation is much different than with a young man.  We talk about different things.

Both are good, but they are different.  I’m not sure if I prefer one over the other, but I’m glad I have both.
