If you haven’t before, I suggest you try photography. Photography works like a magical key that opens the world around you.

It reveals beauty in ordinary things. Without a camera, a ball of aluminum foil on the ground is just a piece of trash. But with a camera, that same ball of aluminum foil becomes a source of curiosity and beauty.

Q. Imagine you could be famous for any reason. What would you want to be remembered for and why?

Photography also leads us to go places and do things that we otherwise wouldn’t. For example, I hadn’t swung on a swing set in a long time, but I did the other day because I wanted to capture a swinging moment.

Q. What would you do if you woke up one morning and no one else was left on earth?

A camera unlocks the world so we become more aware and more curious to explore.
