This week I was surprised by a couple unrelated acts of kindness from people whom I don’t know very well.

I was given this book from the owner at Duc Phu coffee. We’ve hardly exchanged words before now.

Later, I was invited to lunch at my boss’s house, and I saw where he lives.

Both those things slightly changed the way I see these people.
