Last weekend, there was a dire shortage of cooks for the food truck. For the first time, I alone was in charge of cooking everything and managing orders. This was my time to shine.

This was an opportunity to try changing things around the way I want to do them. I wanted to try pre-preparing the fried rice, and I found that was more efficient. I also learned that meats shouldn’t be pre-prepared.

This last weekend was also an opportunity to demonstrate my ability in the role of cook. This shows the boss what I can do, so maybe I’ll be promoted.

In conclusion, I was ready for my moment. I had a plan I feel like I nailed it.
