What is a ‘public health emergency’? What is the novel coronavirus? When will it be safe to go to school again? Are you very concerned about the coronavirus? Do you feel safe? What can we do to help each other stay safe? What does ‘Wuhan, add oil!’ mean?

This lesson gives the student space to talk about the current public emergency affecting them. We online teachers are in a unique position to stay connected with students who are quarantined. If your student wants to talk about what’s going on, then you can help them just by listening.

This lesson will be publicly available until the schools in China are open again.
